I'm trying my hand at very textured pieces of art.
Not sure I like this one.
You may have seen his one on Google+ but I haven't posted it here yet.
I like to post things I've done whether I like them or not.
This one is 10x10 cradled wood.
I used modeling paste and acrylic inks by Liquitex.
It was fun but I think I want to do more layers of colors.
Maybe sand some surfaces...experiment.
Some close ups.
Love the colors but need more layers of colors.
I used a few number stickers.
What do you think?

Oh I so much love the texture, and agree that more layers of colour (some going against the texture, perhaps?) would be fun to try. I've used drywall compound as an alternative to modelling paste and it works well too. More please!!!
