A fun, silly, and photography filled weekend left me with tons of funny cell phone pics. My goddaughter is moving out of state so I wanted to make her something special before she moved.
I had a Tim Holtz Small Folio that I bought a long time ago. I love the idea of the folio but didn't know how to go about using it. With pictures, stencils, spray paint and a glass of wine I started. I started by using gesso and painted the whole folio and then used stencils and spray paint to finish it.
I downloaded all my cell phone pics to my computer and printed them out.
Inside the folio is this piece that I didn't really know what I would do with it.
Thank goodness for You Tube!
I added all the layers first before I attached it to the inside of the folio.
Here is what the inside looks like.........
I decided to use black so the pictures would pop off the page.
Love using the white pen too!
Rub-Ons on some pages.
I'm so glad I had lots of pics!
This is the last page. This opens to a larger picture.
This picture was taken at the beach.
This was very time consuming.
That's why I don't scrapbook; it's never ending.
BUT
I had fun making this.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
What a fabulous thing to do for your goddaughter - no doubt she's over the moon with it. And it's obvious that there's a wonderful bond between the two of you.
