MOJO MONDAY #187

Salutations! I decided to make a card for this weeks sketch challenge on Mojo Monday's blog. When I first started making cards I used sketches to learn what to do. I know when I sat down to make my first card it looked so complicated and I was very frustrated. It can be overwhelming. Using sketches helped me open up to a world of endless possibilities.  Now I love to challenge myself with sketches especially when I'm stuck in a rut and the creativity is not flowing.

Supplies
Green cardstock; Pattern Paper from My Minds Eye Stella Rose 6x6 paper pad; manila cardstock for circle and tag; ivory and green ribbon, Stampin Up (Bliss stamp set, scallop circle punch, antique brad)

I hope you liked the card. It was a fun sketch. You should try one of their sketches!

On another topic I won't be posting on my usual Sunday because of Easter and I'm in the process of packing up boxes for my daughter. She found her first apartment and we are shipping out what we can this weekend. I'm sure I will be shipping out boxes next week too! It's amazing how much stuff is in her room!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Stunning card Karenliz! Absolutely stunning! It's funny, when I started making cards I thought sketches were overwhelming - not the other way around! Trying to fit all those elements on a little surface (I'm a 12x12 scrapper) but I enjoy using them now as well.

  2. Love the dimension of your flower. I agree that sketches can be inspiring when one's creative mojo has up and walked out. :) I'll have to check out that website! Thanks for sharing. (And thanks for your kind comments on my blog)
