Art Journal Every Day

Hello! Today I have a quick journal page to show you for Julie's Art Journal Every Day. At work we are purging and in a box I found a plastic tube and some gears from an old laser printer so I thought they would make great tools for paint. 

I painted the background with black gesso then used my new tools to add a design. The butterfly is make from dry wall tape and my works were written in a white ink pen. The sentiment is actually perfect for this week.
