DecoArt Winter Wonderland Challenge: My Frozen Heart

Today I'm sharing my project I created for DecoArt Winter Wonderland Challenge.

In the sale bin I found this hanging clock but the back of the clock was missing. I took the clock parts out of it and used it as a case. First things first these are the supplies I used to create my project.

I had a metal heart in my stash and decided to see what would happen if I dipped it into DecoArt Crackle Glaze. I painted the metal heart white before I dipped it. You've got to try it, it worked out great.

The key hole crackled too!

Look at the way it crackled when it dried.
You have to dip stuff into the glaze!!

I painted everything white.
When it dried I used my finger and applied Crackle Glaze all over the piece including the stand.
I used DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics in Titanium White and Cerulean to add color to the project.

I even crackled the clear front cover.
Doesn't it look like real ice?

I added Diamond Dust and snow to the piece to finish it.

This picture if from my cell. It's blurry but I wanted you to see the sparkle.

It took a couple of weeks to finish.
I didn't think I would ever finish it.
