The Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas Challenge #2

Salutations! I've been trying to play catch up for this challenge and there hasn't been enough time in a day. I have two tags completed but I'm going to post them separately.

What inspired me on Linda's tag was the snowflakes and the flower. I have in my stash ribbon that has quite a bit of sparkle and I thought that would be perfect for the card. I bought new Memory Box dies (Bianca Snowflake and Frostyville Border) and I had to use them.

The picture doesn't do it any justice. You can't see the sparkles in the flower. I have to practice taking pictures of sparkles! The blue background is gesso, ice blue and pearl metallic acrylic paints. The flower was made with Tim Holtz tattered flower die. The brad I think is from Stampin Up. The deer is grungeboard which I painted white then added glitter.

Thats #2 done! I believe she's on week 7 but there is plenty of time to play!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

  1. What a sensational tag, Karen! The colors are absolutely wonderful - love the shine of the metallic paints. Those snowflake die cuts are terrific and your handmade flower is definitely the perfect finisher. Your glittery happy holidays sentiment is pretty sensational too!

Thanks for joining in this challenge. I'm so thrilled to have you aboard for all this tag fun!

    Hugs,
    Linda
