Tea Time Mad Hatter Style! Plus a few more projects!

I think I had too much tea! I didn't get into my craft room until Saturday night and I just moved so fast by the time I looked around I was done!  So grab your favorite cup of whatever and see what I've made!

This one is my favorite.  As you all know I love mixed media and found a 5" x 5" clayboard panel at my favorite art store. Clayboard has a nice smooth surface and is perfect for mixed media. I will definately buy lots more.

I decided to use green wire to make stems for tea pot and tea cup flowers. The Mad Hatter is mad so thought it would be a perfect setting.

Here is an Alice ATC (Artist Trading Card). I bought illustration board that was already cut ATC size (2.5"x3.5").  Illustration board is thick and harder than paper so it's a perfect material for ATCs.

My next project is a card. Most of the paper was from my scap basket. I believe the paper is from the Basic Grey Urban Prairie paper pack and K&Company Roam paper pack. I just cut the paper into strips to make the backgroud.  The stamps are from Close To My Heart Aspire set.

Next another card.  I had this card in my scraps that I previously added a backgroud and used it as a challenge to think of what to add to it.  I decided to close my eyes and choose the next paper color. It was yellow so I decided to watercolor the flower in yellow and pink. The flower was made from Heartfelt Creations Lily Petal Precut Stamp set. I used the two smallest petals to make the flower. The sentiment is also from Heartfelt Creations. I'm not sure I like this card because of the colors but when I challenge myself with color I try to finish the project. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

Thats it for now! I hope you enjoyed my projects.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

  2. Cute stuff. I especially like your first card. Even though it's not my favorite colors, I love the lattice look you did for the background, and the saying is great! :D
